mmm…delicious idea!
On my wedding day, eating or hydrating was the last thing on my mind. There’s so much going on – so many loved ones in and out – that it’s just really not something I planned for or thought of. Thankfully, my maid of honor is one of the smartest people I know, and since our venue was a restaurant, it worked out just fine: she ordered up to the room where we were getting ready platters of appetizers and bottles of pellegrino, and once it arrived, we all ate like we had never seen food before.
Unfortunately, keeping the bridal party fed and hydrated is one of those details that often goes by the wayside when planning. Enter Marrylicious, one of the smartest businesses I’ve seen in a long time!

Heather Kleiner and Juliana Wong, the brilliant minds behind Marrylicious, offer a range of packages that will keep you and your bridal party nourished and prepared for any wedding day situation. Focusing on “the art of eating,” they offer gourmet snacking packages from fine local specialty food creators such as Belle Epicurean and Beecher’s Cheese. Each package is customizable and your choices range from simple snacks and sparkling water to savory gourmet lunches and sparkling wine. (The packages are also quite reasonably priced!)

Each gourmet package also includes a signature survival kit, complete with stain remover, dental products, tissue, mints, and a sewing kit. These girls have thought of everything!
We met Heather and Juliana at the Seattle Wedding Show (we were neighbors – their booth was only two spaces away) and they are both so sweet and helpful! I’d highly recommend contacting them. Check out their website at www.marrylicious.com.

It’s been crazy busy since the show! I’ve been seriously slacking in the blog post department – sorry everyone! I have a list of really great things to share with you in the coming weeks, so keep an eye out!
In the meantime, here’s a sneak peak of this week’s invitation delivery…we’ll post more photos once the invitations actually get mailed to their guests. I love tulips, so this has been a really enjoyable suite to design. And this shade of red…hot! The couple also chose to accent with slate gray envelopes, which complements the red perfectly and wasn’t a color combo I would have immediately come up with. But it’s beautiful – definitely a color palette we’ll use in the future.

good design for only 41 cents

We love their industrial designs, why not show how much by using these new stamps from the USPS commemorating Charles + Ray Eames on your equally beautiful stationery. These just make me want that bent plywood chair even more!

Hello all! We spent this last weekend at the Seattle Wedding Show, which was a great success and a lot of fun! I have a lot to post about this week, including a few new vendors we met at the show that we are really excited about. We’re going to be very busy this coming month, so keep an eye on the blog, as we’ll be sure to keep all of you up to date on our activities.
In the meantime, here are some photos of our booth from this last weekend. Enjoy!
