circles, greens, letterpress…i’m in love.

I love love LOVE the invitation suite we delivered last week…it’s a letterpressed delight of random circles in varying shades of green (my favorite color!) We had a blast designing these fun invitations and the finished product is beautiful. We’ll show more once the wedding date draws closer…
This necklace reminds me of the suite and would be a great springtime accessory…

I LOVE these little lego-inspired speakers that work with any ipod classic, nano, or mini. No batteries are required (they run off your ipod’s power). Available in a variety of classic lego colors at fredflare.com.
No commentsit’s almost spring! (a girl can hope, can’t she?)
Seattle-ites often joke that there are two seasons here: winter and the 4th of July. I, however, beg to argue with that: I LOVE our spring and summer here, even if they can be fickle and short-lived.
The weather today was phenomenal: 55 degrees and bright and sunny. I can’t wait to start wearing spring clothes again, specifically light and airy dresses and sweet feminine shoes. Here are some springtime inspirations I love, all from anthropologie.com.
marc jacobs for waterford

I’ve never considered myself a fine china kind of girl. But I’ve changed my mind now that I’ve seen Marc Jacobs for Waterford in person. Yesterday we participated in Panache 2008, an intimate bridal show held at Seattle’s Columbia Tower Club. Our little area was right next to the display for Macy’s, where, lo and behold, was sitting some of the most adorable china I’ve ever seen. (Yes, I did just use the word “adorable” to describe fine china.)
If I were to buy myself a set today, it would be Marc Jacobs’ Elizabeth pattern, seen above. So chic!

This is not design or wedding related, but I thought I’d share one of the photos we took of the Na Pali coast while we were in Kauai last week. Don’t you wish you were there? I sure do!

join us!
This Sunday, February 17, we will be participating in Panache 2008, a spirited display of style put on by the always fabulous Columbia Tower Club. This show is in its second year, and we really enjoy that the intimate atmosphere allows brides to chat freely (no pushy crowds here!) and also enjoy a cocktail or two and the club’s delicious catering. The views don’t hurt either (spectacular!)
Join us as well as several other of Seattle’s best wedding professionals! Tickets are $25 in advance (purchase at panacheweddingshow.com) or $30 at the door. We hope to see you there!

seattle bride best of 2008 voting

Just a quick reminder for all you Seattle brides, today is your final chance to let you voice be heard on who you feel are the best of the best of Seattle wedding vendors. You can have your say on all the categories you’d expect, such as, best wedding coordinator, best wedding cakes, best photographer, oh and of course, best invitations designer! Along with the usuals, you also have an opportunity to make your own suggestion of a category and say who you think fits that description. To top it all off (the cherry on the proverbial ice cream sunday) you have a chance to win dinner and an overnight stay and the new Arctic Club Hotel.
Today’s the deadline! Vote online now, so you won’t be saying, “Why isn’t (your favorite vendor) in here? They were great for my wedding!” when pick up the next Seattle Bride magazine.
