a better chance of getting struck by lightning

In the case of this picture it was very much a possibility. We recently saw this picture on J. Garner’s Blog and were just blown away! This really is an amazing shot. We would say a it’s a one-in-a-million shot, but he mentions he caught lighting in other shots from this wedding three more times! Yikes. Even so, we were so amazed by this picture we had to share it.

J. Garner Photography is one of the many great photographers in the Seattle area. In fact, they have been recognized for their photography in more way than one. They were chosen as one of the top ten wedding photographers in the world by American Photo Magazine and most recently we were able to see them win “2008′s Best Photographer in Seattle” at the Seattle Bride Magazine “best of” party. Congrats to both Jim and Katarina. The accolades are well deserved!
