“what we did on our summer vacation”
…or, “why we’ve had no social life for the past six months” or “why we have not been blogging much lately”…
We’ve been delivering invitation suites and reception packages what feels like every other day for the past six months! It’s been a busy year and it’s been a blast.
Call it what you want, but summer (otherwise known as wedding season!) is winding down, which means that we’re moving forward with lots of next year’s work. We’ve had so many fun clients this year, and I am in LOVE with quite a few of the designs we created this summer. Here is a glimpse of some of what we’ve been working on…
Once we update our website we’ll be posting more details from each of these weddings (and so many more!) We have a lot more exciting work to show off here on the blog too, so keep your eyes peeled!
We are accepting new projects for January 2009 weddings and beyond, so if you are interested in getting started, email us! We’d love to chat about your event!
3 commentstoday’s snippet and ink board
There’s a lovely pink/copper palette on today’s inspiration board over at Snippet and Ink – Lindsay and Tom’s gatefold invitations are featured (row 3, picture 1). Thanks for including us!
As a side note, I LOVE the ranunculus arrangement (row 3, picture 3).

We’ve had some technical difficulties over here, so if you’ve commented recently and your comment disappeared, our apologies! Things should be all fixed now.
No commentsmy morning orange juice…
…wants to be in one of these glasses. My favorite book as a child was Alice in Wonderland (it’s still one of my favorites) and one of the reasons was the detailed, intricate, and occasionally bizarre illustrations. Urban Outfitters has these great glasses featuring those illustrations and I think I need to buy them!
I was in the store last week and they have great platters and dishes with Alice illustrations as well, but I can’t find them online. Buy the glasses here!
1 commentInnovative Save the Dates
A save the date we created this year for one of our destination wedding couples has been included in the Washington DC edition of Brides Local magazine! Ben and Wakako’s save the date was offset printed on shimmery cardstock, with a rhinestone marking their wedding date on a sweet little calendar.
2 commentsiphone wallpaper
Recently Whitney and I both got the new Apple iPhone. Needless to say, we now don’t know what we would do without them! Question is, how can you make it even better? How about changing up the wallpaper. Well, wouldn’t you know it but Veer has come out with wallpaper of their own you can download. Personalize your phone with some of your favorite familiar images and fonts from Veer!
Above are some of our favorites, now go find your own… and if you don’t have the iPhone, what are you waiting for?
