Kicking off our series of real weddings is the April wedding of Julie and Tony. Their reception took place at the uber-cool Hotel 1000 (we’ve stayed there as guests and LOVE it!).
Julie came to us with a definite idea for her invitations - she was inspired by the cake she was working with Bonnie at New Renaissance Cakes on - and we created a fun and urban letterpress suite to complement her vision. I love the green monochromatic color scheme - so fresh!

Thank you so much Julie and Tony for sharing your wedding day details with us! Special thanks also to Clinton James Photography for providing these great photos!

Hello all!
As crazy-busy-season winds down to just plain busy-season, we will begin featuring here on our blog the real weddings of some of our 2008 clients - specifically, how their invitations influenced the overall schematic of their events. I love seeing how everything comes together for the wonderful couples we work with, and several talented Seattle area photographers have agreed to share their work with us so that we can share with you!
Stay tuned!

So we’re a bit behind on our blog (see post below) so this has probably been posted elsewhere. In case you haven’t seen it yet, check out this printer block inspired coffee table from Crate & Barrel. Designed by a graphic designer in London - or so says the description on the Crate & Barrel site, this of course could be marketing balderdash, but still, it makes to be a pretty cool coffee table. Looks like woodblock type and letterpress has gone mainstream America.
