letterpress san francisco print
This 3-color letterpress print is so much fun! I’m a northern CA girl at heart, and this print reminds me of home. I wonder if I can convince Jonathan that we need this – we have a long list of artwork we want – maybe I can push this to the top of the list.
Stunning work by etsy seller labpartners.

2 commentsi want … books!
I’ve long had a deep love for books, bookstores, libraries, book fairs (just ask my mom). A “quick” trip to the book store can easily take up half a day before I realize it.
I did a bit of browsing on amazon today and started compiling a wish list – there’s no way I can post all of the books out there that I’m coveting as there’s too many. But here are three…

live/work: working at home, living at work | deborah k. dietsch
We recently bought a coffee table and while I’m usually arguing to keep it clear (Jonathan likes having stuff out on the table, I’m not a big fan of coffee table clutter) I think it could use a select coffee table book or two. I’ve been wanting this book for some time and think it would find a nice home on the newly-acquired table.

3 commentsrenegade craft fair :: chicago
We’re back from Chicago! It was ridiculously cold (especially for me, as I’m a west-coaster that’s never lived in sub-zero temps…I’m a serious wimp). We had a great time with family and friends – Jonathan is originally from Chicago, so we had a lot of catching up to do!
While there, we went to the One of a Kind show (more on that later) and the Renegade Craft Fair Holiday Sale. Jonathan and I had to fly home, so we were reluctant to buy much at the show (our luggage was overflowing anyways, so that was probably a prudent move on our part), but we mentally bookmarked several items that we plan to order online. There were so many favorites, a few are listed below:
We originally saw this 2009 calendar from Sycamore Street Press on Design Sponge, but seeing it in person won us both over. It’s precious (and there’s a frenchie on it). 50% of the profits from the sales of these calendars go to AHOPE, an orphanage for children who are HIV positive in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. This is top on our “to purchase” list!
Jonathan loved these W.W.T.W.D.? tees and buttons from Secret Lovers. We bought the pin but now must order the tee…
The knit cowl scarves and other goodies from seller fivetrees were so soft and lovely! I love this cherry cowl available in their etsy shop.
Finally, both of us kind of freaked out over the posters from delicious design league. We wanted so many of them that I was actually kind of glad that we weren’t buying right then and there, otherwise we would have spent far too much money in the space of only a couple of minutes. After getting home we narrowed our choices down to these three:

2 commentsbecause you can never have too many bulldogs in your life…
This woven tie from J Crew is great. Love, love, love the tiny bulldogs! I think maybe we need to get one of these for Jonathan…
2 commentszebra!
I have been seriously into zebra print these days, and I’m coveting this area rug from West Elm…I love the darker one, but the light one is on sale right now!
No commentseli, no!
I came across this today on sfgirlbythebay and it is so darn precious I have to share.
Eli, no! is an unpublished children’s book by Katie Kirk. It’s so sweet and charming – view the illustrations in full here. (shown below are just a few – there’s more!) This story is so charming it brought me to tears! (Of course, I have a soft spot in my heart for good-yet-sometimes-bad dogs…)
1 commenttarget, you’ve done it again.
It’s no secret how much I love Target. I ADORE Target. So it should be no surprise that’s I’m coveting several of their winter items – specifically their coats. I bought this coat (great color, eh?) last week, although it really serves no purpose other than looking FABULOUS. Now to find some really great boots…

We have a full day of appointments today, so I’ll leave you with this, just for fun. I think Stella would really like this.
