type coasters

As I was helping to finish up our massive home office overhaul I was enjoying a cold Fat Tire beer and set the glass down on our desk. I realized at that moment we need new coasters to go with our newly re-arranged office. For some reason I’ve always been obsessed with coasters, and found these laser-etched bamboo type beauties at Veer. I love the bamboo texture and the array of different type forms. These, I think, would be an exellent addition to our newly de-cluttered desktop!
2 commentsnew studio :: sneak peek

As we mentioned a while back, we had bid farewell to our old studio a few weeks ago. It served us well for a couple of years, but after the initial move we went into serious studio set-up mode.
Above is just a quick sneak peek into what we were dealing with as we started to get things together. As you can see, there are some good bones to the room: exposed brick walls, vaulted ceilings and windows with great sunlight. Stay tuned for a in-depth before and after shots of our studio setup that Whitney will post next. We’re excited about the new studio and the chance to meet our clients here as well as all our industry friends.

This bird bath dish would make a lovely business card holder, no? I’m thinking I might order it for our studio…
1 commentrethinking the studio
I’ve been rethinking our studio recently – I think it is due for some new, fresh changes. I’m thinking lots of white (combined with the some of the dark brown furniture we already have), clear acrylic accessories, succulents, and some new storage.

I’m always on the lookout for new prints for the house (there are too many on my wish list, I can hardly keep up with it) and this Ken Bailey print makes me smile. I think it would look great in our entry way – I love the orange.

numbers numbers letterpress print | pearl and marmalade
I was originally going to title this post “design for tots,” but as I started going through all of the great items I’d bookmarked, I realized there are way too many well-designed kiddie items out there to feature in one post. So I’ve narrowed it down to a few of my favorite prints for the little ones out there. These are so much fun – I’m actually considering getting the Pearl & Marmalade numbers print shown above just for the house (even though we don’t have any kiddos!)

If you’re a regular reader of our blog, you know how we feel about frenchies…so of course I’m head over heels in love with this adorable card, illustrated and letterpressed by Sycamore Street Press. Available as a single card or a set of 6 in their shop.

is there such a thing as too organized?
Nope.
I am in awe of this craft room belonging to crafty intentions.
Those of you who read this blog regularly know that I am in a never-ending quest for organization in our own studio, and this photo {posted on modish} totally inspires me to get my rear in gear. I especially love the aqua and red color scheme.
