This is much belated, as these cards aren’t really that new anymore -

With the new overall look for our online presence, we decided it was also time to freshen up our business cards! These little beauties are letterpress (in a deep, smoky, warm gray) on Crane’s Lettra 100% cotton stock. For some reason we can’t bring ourselves to have a standard size business card (our last bunch were square) – these cards are 3.5″ x 1.75″ for a long, lean look (and still long enough to fit in a business card holder, which was an issue with our square cards).

The blog has been a bit quiet, dear readers – between preparing for the upcoming Seattle Wedding Show, working on our new website (it’s pretty awesome – I can’t wait to show it off), and getting ready for our second Paperpalooza event (details to follow next week) – we’ve been (just a little) busy. I promise the posts will start coming regularly again very soon!

In the meantime, here’s a teensy glimpse at another item we’ve been working on – some gorgeous letterpress invitations for a spring destination wedding!

Seeing as today is the shortest day of the year, and many of us are vaguely irritated with the dreary winter weather, I thought it would be an appropriate day to share this real wedding which took place at the Inn at Spanish Bay, in Pebble Beach (don’t you wish you were there right now?)

Katie was such a sweetheart to work with – her infectious smile lit up our entire studio every time she came in for an appointment. We had such a great time working with her on a classic, tailored wedding invitation suite including invitation, rsvp card, and website card letterpressed in chocolate ink on thick, luxurious cotton paper.Her chocolate envelopes with offset return address printing complemented the suite perfectly!

Additionally, we worked with Katie on a reception package including programs, menus, place cards, and a large seating chart, each item featuring Katie and Dave’s monogram. Everything came together beautifully!

I love everything about this photo. I love the poster (only $20 from etsy seller Roll and Tumble Press!), I love the vintage cameras, I love the books – this is something I’d like to do in our home. We have a vintage polaroid camera and it’s been difficult to decide how best to display it – but I think I just may have to steal this styling idea.

The air is cooler here in Seattle, and the leaves have started to change! I love fall!
